Meet Me
I'm Rachel - a trauma-informed, holistic grief coach, and a firm believer that even in the hardest seasons, life can still hold light, colour, hope and meaning.
I created Afterglow because I know grief from the inside. I lost my husband suddenly to suicide while I was pregnant, and both my parents at a young age. I know what it is to keep going while your heart is broken - while everything you knew has shifted and you're not sure who you are anymore, or how to find your way back to yourself.
Grief coaching isn't therapy - and it isn't about fixing you, rushing you, or helping you 'move on.' It's about creating a space that feels safe, grounding and deeply human. Somewhere grief, love, guilt, anger, shame and hope can all exist together, without judgement.
My approach is holistic - which means we work with the whole of you. Body, mind and spirit. I learned long ago that you can't think your way out of grief without first working with your nervous system, and everything I do is shaped by that understanding.
Together, we work on gently integrating your loss, finding steadiness again, and reconnecting with who you are becoming - because grief changes us, and that doesn't have to be only a painful thing.
Outside of this work, I love writing, music, dancing, and dreaming of Ibiza with my little family. I'm someone who has learned - slowly, imperfectly - to notice the small pockets of light that make life beautiful. And I'm here to help you find yours.

Online sessions are available so you can join from wherever you are - or if you’re local we can meet in person in Liverpool in calm, welcoming spaces. It’s always up to you.
