The AfterGlow Space

Holistic Grief Support
from Rachel Hart-Phillips

You don’t move through grief and then beyond it, you learn to move with it as part of your life just as you do love.

Meet Me

I’m Rachel - a trauma-informed, holistic grief coach and small business owner - and a firm believer that even in the hardest seasons, life can still hold light, colour, hope and meaning.

I created AfterGlow because I know how isolating and confusing grief can feel. I’ve lived it - losing my husband suddenly to suicide while pregnant, and both my parents at a young age. I understand what it’s like to keep going while your heart is broken and everything else in your life has changed.

My approach isn’t about fixing, rushing or moving on. And grief coaching isn’t therapy. It’s about creating a space that feels safe, grounding and deeply human - where grief, sadness, love, guilt, shame and hope can all exist together. I support people in gently integrating their loss, finding steadiness again, and reconnecting with who they are becoming. My approach is holistic, meaning we work on exploring grief within the whole body, mind and spirit. I learnt long ago that you can’t think your way out of grief without working on your nervous system first.

Outside of this work, I love writing, working on my business, music, dancing and dreaming of Ibiza with my little family. And mostly - noticing the small pockets of light that make life beautiful.

I’m here because grief isn’t meant to be carried alone - and you deserve support that meets you exactly where you are.

Small, intimate group spaces for shared support and connection. Explore grief alongside others, with guided reflection, practical tools, and space to feel held, understood, and less alone.

In Person or Online

Online sessions are available so you can join from wherever you are - or if you’re local I we can meet in person in Liverpool in calm, welcoming spaces. It’s always up to you.

Book a free discovery call

Not sure if grief coaching is right for you? Let’s chat.

You can book a free, no-obligation discovery call with me, where we’ll talk about your situation, your goals, and how Afterglow might support you. Think of it as a safe space to explore your options, ask questions, and see if this feels like the right fit - no pressure, no expectations.

I’ll listen, guide, and help you figure out the next step for your journey. Sometimes just talking it through can bring a little clarity and calm.

My Approach

My approach is slow, kind, and grounded in the belief that grief deserves time, care, and honesty.
